The dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It adapts to your role, so you land on the numbers and actions that matter to your job — and you can further tailor the layout to your preference.

What each role sees

Every dashboard is assembled from widgets (KPI tiles, charts, lists, and quick actions). You only ever see the widgets your role has access to; a user with more than one role sees the combined set.

Widgets are organized under named sections — School Overview, My Day, Finance, Students & Enrollment, Attendance, Academics, Medical, Assets & Inventory, Library, and Shortcuts — so every tile and chart is labeled with the area of the school it describes. Alert banners appear above the sections, unlabeled.

Every dashboard also has a Quick Actions panel that links straight to the tasks you perform most, and a personalized greeting with your name, role, and the active term.

Personalize your layout

Use Customize (top-right of the dashboard) to make the layout your own.

  • Reorder — use the up/down arrows to move a widget higher or lower. Each widget's section name is shown under its title so you know which heading it renders under.
  • Hide / show — use the eye toggle to remove a widget you don't need, or bring it back.
  • Save — your layout is saved to your profile, so it follows you across devices.
  • Reset — return to the default layout for your role at any time.

Your customization only affects your own dashboard. Other users — even those with the same role — keep their own layouts.

Notes

  • KPI numbers come from live aggregates and refresh each time you open the dashboard.
  • If your school hasn't started a study year yet, non-teaching staff will see a short setup prompt instead of KPIs until a term is running.
  • Amounts are shown in Ugandan Shillings (UGX).
