Send a role-scoped invitation link so a staff member can join your school.
Before you start
- You know the email address of the person you're inviting.
- You know which role they should hold (Teacher, Bursar, Matron, Registrar, Headmaster, Director, etc.). The roles your account can grant depend on your own role.
Steps
- Go to Dashboard → Team → Invitations.
- In the Invite team member card, type the staff member's email into the Email field.
- Pick the Role to grant. The dropdown only shows roles you're allowed to assign.
- Click Create invitation.
- The new invitation appears in the Pending & historical invitations table. Click the link icon to copy the invite link and share it with the person.
If they don't accept within a few days, use the Resend action on that row to send a fresh email. Use Revoke if you no longer want them to join.
Inviting somebody only grants the single role you picked. To give them additional roles later, edit the member from Dashboard → Team → Roles once they've accepted.
