YoShule Docs
For:Teacher

What every teacher does on their first day in YoShule — set up your profile, find your timetable, take a roll call, and enter marks.

Before you start

  • You've accepted your invite and signed in — see Accepting an invitation.
  • The Registrar has built the term timetable and you've been added to at least one lesson, or you've been assigned subjects for a class.

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard → Profile and complete your name, phone, and photo. This is how you'll appear on the timetable and to parents.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Timetable → My Schedule to see the lessons you're teaching this term. If something looks wrong, ask the Registrar to fix the assignment on the master timetable — you can't edit it directly.
  3. To take attendance for a scheduled lesson, go to Dashboard → Timetable → Roll Call and pick the running session. To start an ad-hoc one, click New roll call at the top of the page.
  4. To enter marks, go to Dashboard → Assessment → Marks Entry. Pick the Term, Set, and Class, then click into the grid and type each student's mark. Press Cmd/Ctrl + S or click Save to commit.
  5. To download your class as a workbook (and re-import edits), use the workbook controls above the grid.

Marks save per-paper. If a subject has multiple papers, switch papers at the top of the grid — your current edits are kept while you switch.
